Matar paneer recipe

Today’s recipe is one such favorite dish that is loved in almost every Indian household.
Matar Paneer Recipe (Green Peas with Cottage Cheese)
Ingredients:
Paneer – 200 grams (cubed)
Green peas – 1 cup (fresh or frozen)
Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)
Tomato – 2 medium (pureed)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Green chili – 1 (chopped)
Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – ½ teaspoon
Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Oil or ghee – 2 tablespoons
Water – 1 to 1.5 cups
Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
Instructions:
Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
Add tomato puree. Cook until the oil starts separating.
Add turmeric, red chili, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add green peas and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Add water and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Add paneer cubes and cook on low flame for 5–6 minutes.
Sprinkle garam masala and stir gently.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve hot with roti, naan, paratha, or steamed rice.
